We have our first 11 outfitters live where customers are now booking trips through our software and we are continuing to build out our marketplace which will be live soon. Six weeks ago our sales team got the green light to start selling our software, and since then we have signed our first 16 contracts and are on pace to exceed 20 outfitters within the first two months. The best part is that GoGuide is now officially live! We also are changing the industry for the better by creating a booking software that is actively working to drive outfitters customers through our marketplace capability. The key thing that we do differently is allow customers to book by guide and know who their guide is going to be before the trip ever happens. GoGuide is a platform, marketplace & a booking software. We aim to provide tools to help more people make a living doing what they love in the outdoors & connect more people to experiences in the outdoors. With that being said, the mission of GoGuide is simple. The outdoors has always been my reset, the place where I am happiest, and where I have created many of my best memories. For me, GoGuide is a culmination of my life goal to make a living doing what I love & help other people do the same within an industry that has shaped my life for the better. For many who don’t know, a little over a year ago I officially started working on building a software & a company called GoGuide.

"So as far as page space, or whether or not Rocky comes back for this one, this is the Creed franchise moving forward." "There's going to be so many Rocky-isms that are forever going to stay with Adonis as he moves forward," he notes, suggesting that Balboa will still be represented onscreen. even if they're not sharing the same frame. "We really want fans to be interested in Adonis and what that story has to say." (Watch our video interview above.)Īt the same time, Jordan makes it clear that Rocky will always be a part of his pupil's life. "I feel like this is the Creed franchise," the actor tells Yahoo Entertainment while discussing his new film, Without Remorse, which premieres April 30 on Prime Video. Jordan - who graduates to the director's chair with the third installment in the spin-off series following young Adonis Creed - has a good reason for why the Italian Stallion isn't returning for another round. The recent news that Sylvester Stallone's lovable punching bag, Rocky Balboa, won't be part of Creed III hit fans like a Clubber Lang-style punch in the gut. Now that I’ve been furloughed due to Covid 19, I plan to finish the series. Thus, I’ve managed to read the first five books in the Dark Tower series before I went back to work. I had the time to sat down for long reads while we sheltered in place. I started reading them when our state went into lockdown mode. Two of those books were part of the Dark Tower series. Several Stephen King books were included in my secret stash under the stairs. Natural disaster tradition is why I picked up a copy of Stephen King’s The Wind Through the Keyhole: A Book Review during the recent pandemic. I would be exaggerating if I said I was scared out of my mind. The only thing standing between my two small children freezing to death if we lost power would be me. He slept at the Chrysler plant where he worked because the roads became impassable. During the blizzard of 1978, I read The Shining while snow piled up to the windows, and the lights flickered off and on an entire night. Whenever I’m faced with a natural disaster, I pick up a Stephen King novel. So often when I’m cooking I’ll change things up or add extra spices to suit my mood at the time. The “little of this, little of that” cooking style is one that resonates with me in a big way. Soon everyone contributes something to the pot and there’s enough soup for the entire village. Asking everywhere for things to put in the pot, they were rejected at every turn until they fabricated a story that with just a stone they could all have soup…if only someone would also toss in some carrots for garnish…and maybe a few potatoes…and maybe some black pepper. The fable goes that some travelers (or sometimes soldiers) were passing through a village with no food and no cooking utensils save for a soup pot. The popular 1947 children’s book by Marcia Brown (still in print today) was based on European folktales about the community banding together to make soup seemingly from nothing. Most of us remember the story of stone soup. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.įor printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. "Twofers," as they are known, are common in the world of the novel (which in other respects is naturalistically depicted, and indistinguishable from our own). Half Life is ostensibly, or overtly, about a pair of conjoined twins, Nora and Blanche Olney, who have separate heads but share a single torso and set of limbs. Shelley Jackson's Half Life is a dazzling and amazing book - the first print novel by the author of the hypertext fictions Patchwork Girl and My Body, the short story collection The Melancholy of Anatomy, and the short story "Skin," which is being tattooed one word at a time on the skin of volunteers.
